Scott Cosper

Chief Investigator

Scott serves as the Chief Investigator for the District Attorney’s Office and has been in law enforcement for over 26 years. Prior to joining the DA’s office, Scott worked for 13 years with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, working his way up to Sergeant in the Criminal Investigation division.

 

Scott comes from a family of law enforcement officers. He has a brother who is a lieutenant with the Georgia State Patrol and another brother who is the Chief Investigator for the Medical Examiner in Cobb County. Scott’s mother and grandmother both worked in the School Crossing Guard Unit with the Dekalb County Police Department.

 

Scott is a native of Douglas County , is married with two sons, and a member of Northpoint Baptist Church in Carrollton , GA.
