Nedal Shawkat

Assistant District Attorney

Nedal has been working as an Assistant District Attorney in Douglas County since 2007. Previously, Nedal served as an Assistant Solicitor General in Dekalb County.

 

Nedal graduated from Augusta State University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and graduated from Georgia State University Law School in 2006. While in law school, Nedal interned for the Carroll County District Attorney’s Office and for the Dekalb County Solicitor’s Office.

 

Nedal is currently a member of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy and a member of the Oglethorpe Legal Society.
